Sari Nijssen

Sari Nijssen is a PhD candidate on human-robot interaction in the Behavioural Science Institute at Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on various aspects of human-machine interaction. Chiefly, she is interested in how we perceive machines as having a mind, and how this affects our interaction with them. She is furthermore interested in the implications her research has for society: if people care for robots so easily, in what way would this affect the purpose for which they were built?
